Your Questions, Answered
Who’s present during the shoot?
Just you, me, and a female makeup artist. You can also bring a friend to accompany you if you wish.
Can couples book a rain room session?
Absolutely– I regularly shoot with couples, as well as BFFs who want to do a shoot together. This may entail a small upcharge for hair and makeup, but otherwise the offer is the same.
Are rain room sessions always two hours?
Pretty much. One hour isn’t enough, and more than two is more than you need–you can only do so much in the rain room. If you want to do a longer session, it makes more sense to combine the rain room with one of the other studios that are available at the same location– if you’re interested, we can discuss that during your consultation.
What do I need to bring for a rain shoot? How many outfits should I have?
I recommend 4-6 outfits. Mostly lingerie sets, but robes, swimwear and dresses are also common choices–I can provide more detailed guidance during our consultation. You should also bring a towel or two.
Is the rain cold?
The water temperature is adjustable, but even the highest temperature is a bit lukewarm. The room itself can be heated for your comfort, however. I find clients vary considerably in their temperature preferences, so we’ll play that one by ear.
How long does it take to receive photos?
I will send you unedited proofs to look over within a day. One you select the photos you want me to edit, I’m usually able to deliver those within a week, depending on my schedule. Prints usually take one week after editing to be delivered.
How do I book my shoot?
